Jennifer Young Mahlstedt

(Youth Dance, Musical Theatre, Jazz) has worked professionally in theatre for over twenty years. She has been seen in many productions in Texas as well as nationally. Jennifer attended American Musical & Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City. There she also studied at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway. After moving back to Texas she immediately began teaching. She has danced with the Houston Rockets (NBA) and has taught at the nationally acclaimed Theatre Under the Stars Humphrey's School. While directing and choreographing with TUTS outreach program, Jennifer ventured out to several HISD schools. Jennifer is also a proud member of Actors Equity Association.
