MEGAN RICHARDS (B.M.E., M.M., NCVS Certificate in Vocology) Directing: TexARTS: A Closer Walk With Patsy Cline and Elf, Jr. Other: Robin Hood, Impossible Mission.

Megan graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Baylor University followed by a Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance from New York University, Steinhardt. Megan has studied voice pedagogy under vocologist and founder of Mindful Voice Production, Dr. Brian Gill, as well as with the National Center for Voice and Speech at the University of Utah under Dr. Ingo Titze. Her private voice students are frequently featured as soloists and in leading roles and have earned placement into various auditioned ensembles in the greater Austin area. Most recently, her students have earned lead roles in productions at TexARTS, Zilker Summer Musicals, and Summer Stock Austin, as well as in their local school productions.

Megan has performed internationally and across the U.S., including New York City, The Kennedy Center and at sea with Celebrity Cruises. Regional performance credits include: TexARTS: Xanadu (Melpomene), My Way: A Tribute to Frank Sinatra Other regional: Hairspray (Velma), A Christmas Carol (Mrs. Cratchit), Ragtime, James and the Giant PeachA Year With Frog and Toad, H.C. Andersen’s The Little Mermaid.
