Julie Foster
Voice
Mondays & Wednesdays

Julie Foster received her BFA in Musical Theatre from Penn State University. She is currently working on her Master Teacher Certification with Estill Voice International. Having spent 8 years in NYC performing, she moved to Austin to follow her passion in life. Teaching the younger generation to become the healthiest vocalists they can be and well rounded in all genres of Musical Theatre, Pop and Rock.

Megan Richards Wright
Voice
Tuesdays

Megan Richards Wright (B.M.E., M.M.) graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Baylor University, and then went on to pursue a​Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance from New York University, Steinhardt. Megan studied voice and voice pedagogy under world-renowned vocologist and founder of Mindful Voice Production, Dr. Brian Gill. She has performed internationally and across the U.S. in places such as The Kennedy Center and New York City, as well as at sea with Celebrity Cruises. Her students are members of pre-professional ensembles at TexARTS and ZACH Theatre, are frequently featured as soloists and in leading roles in the greater Austin area and some enjoy representation by NYC-based agencies. Most recently, her students have earned lead roles in productions at TexARTS, Zilker Summer Musicals, and Summer Stock Austin, as well as their local school productions. Robert Carassco
Voice

Robert Carrasco is a highly trained vocal instructor(17+ yrs) whose mission is to “Transform Singers into Vocal Artists” both in the studio and online. Robert believes that if you’re motivated to become a better vocal performer, regardless of your age or experience level, then you can achieve your vocal goals. He specializes in providing his singers with lasting healthy solutions to for a wide ranging of vocal issues and expert audition coaching. His holistic teaching style incorporates the core elements of Estill Voice, classical and contemporary styles training, speech rehabilitation, Pilates, Yoga, Alexander Technique, dance, and his 20+ years professional performance experience in Musical Theatre and as an Operatic Tenor. Robert holds a BM in Vocal Music Education from Chapman University in CA and was awarded a graduate Fellowship at the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana while working on a MM in Voice Performance. Paul Sanchez
Voice 

Paul Sanchez has been studying voice for the past 25 years. He specializes in focusing on proper breathing technique, placement, increasing vocal range and can teach and sing many styles. He teaches the true mechanics of the body and the voice. Giving the student the proper knowledge of their instrument and knowledge of how to keep the voice in healthy and strong shape. He was trained by the two most influential vocal professors in Texas, John Van Cura, better known as VC of Baylor University and Doctor Stephen King of Rice University. Because of his training Paul Sanchez has sung with a few of Pop industries greatest singers and performers such as Prince, Chaka Khan, Elton John and Deltron 3030. He has also provided vocals for studio use for Jay Z. In the Opera world he has sung with Placido Domingo and Renee Fleming. In Austin Paul Sanchez has performed in many musicals, plays, commercials and film. He has also sung, written and recorded with some of Austins greatest musicians and performers. He is very passionate about the human voice and is very excited to be teaching at TexArts.
