(T-PAS)

New For the 2020-2021 School Year


TexARTS Performing Arts School (T-PAS) is a small group arts based learning community. Students will participate in their school’s remote learning activities from the safety and security of TexARTS.  The program meets 2 days per week offering group socialization and supplemental arts instruction. T-PAS is open to students from 4th grade through 8th grade and began September 9th. 

Application Process 

Parents should complete the application here.  Applicants will be reviewed and families will be contacted for further information.  Enrollment is limited to 12 students

Schedule

Students will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:00am-3:30pm (please let us know if your school day schedule is different).  Daily schedule may vary based on the needs of the students’ remote learning schedules.   

 

Performing Arts Focus

Supplemental arts instruction will be offered to the group in dance, fitness, and various theater related activities.  

Academics

Students will be supervised and assisted throughout the day by a dedicated Lynn Reynolds, our Academic Coach and retired teacher.

Tuition

  • The program is $145 per week or $1305.00 per nine week grading period.
  • Tuition is due upon enrollment for 1 week enrollments, please call the Academy Front Desk for payment plan options.
  • The annual registration fee for all TexARTS programming is $40 and will be charged upon enrollment.

COVID-19 Precautions

Students will wear masks for the duration of the day, except for when it interferes with activities or learning.  Instructors will provide individual guidance as to the best way to learn techniques and remain socially distant during performing arts activities.  

Students will remain socially distanced throughout the day, and will each have their own workstations.  Students will be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting their areas at the end of each school day, and the facility will be disinfected nightly. 

All parents and teachers will be notified of COVID exposures and will be expected to notify TexARTS immediately if their student or immediate family member is exposed, becomes ill, or has a positive COVID test result.  We expect all instructors, students, families, and staff to act responsibly and avoid unnecessary exposures to the public for the safety of the whole group.
