Pre-Professional Musical Theatre Training for High School Students

TexARTS’ Advanced Performance Company (APC) is a high-level, audition-based musical theatre training program for high school students ready to take the next step in their artistic journey. This program provides the professional tools, mentorship, and performance opportunities students need to prepare for college programs and professional careers—while staying true to who they are as performers and people.

In APC, students will learn “how to be you” on stage—training in authenticity, presence, and personal storytelling. In an industry that values uniqueness and truth, APC helps each student harness their individuality while growing their technique.

TRAINING INCLUDES:

Advanced triple-threat training: acting, voice, and dance
Deep focus on authenticity in performance
Understanding “how to be you” in any audition or scene
Individualized coaching in monologues, audition cuts, and rep

Performance opportunities throughout the year
Rehearsals that simulate a real-world production process
Masterclasses with industry professionals and college faculty
Expert preparation for college auditions and professional casting

Tuition and performance fees apply - $200 will be billed monthly for the program
