ACADEMY DRESS CODE

Academy dress code varies from class to class.  Immediately below are the universal dress code requirements.  Please review the following and then find your class on the list for specific details.

  • Students should wear street shoes to and from TexARTS.  Dance shoes are damaged by being worn outside.
  • Students should bring a dance bag with any necessary shoes, extra supplies, and sanitizer, and a well sealed water bottle to class.
  • All clothing, shoes, and belongings should be clearly labeled.
  • Students must wear the appropriate attire (including shoes and hair) to each class.  Instructors may ask students to observe class rather than participate if they choose not to follow dress code.
  • Attire promoting violence, racism, drug use, or other content inappropriate for an educational setting is strictly prohibited.
